Traveling solo you have to handle everything yourself, you don’t have your friends with that can take your pictures or use their phone when yours is dead. So if you are traveling solo for the first time or its a lifestyle, these are the go to gadgets you need to have a memorable time and capture the moment. I’m sharing my must-have gadgets that I can’t travel without, they’re practical, super compact, and just perfect for any solo adventurer.
1. Power Bank
I’m constantly on the move, so having a power bank is an absolute must for me. I use my phone for everything: like getting directions, translation, creating content, and booking rides. Running out of battery is just not an option! I really like this one from Anker because it’s flat, slips right into my purse, and is super easy to take anywhere.
2. Tripod
Tripodsss because if you are a solo traveler and content creator, you need to be able to capture yourself independently and you definitely need more than 1 tripod. I use 2, one that’s portable and easy to carry around as I explore my destination. The second is bigger but still compact and I use this for when I want to set up and shoot, in my hotel room, airport or anywhere.
3. Light
Lightning makes so much difference to your video and if you are not using lights to record your content, you definitely need to. It’s perfect for shooting at night, indoor in your hotel room, at a restaurant or club. I use this one from Neewer and it attaches easily to my phone and easy to carry around as well.
4. Weighing Scale
Have you seen people in the airport opening bags and repacking at the counter? that should never be you. I don’t go anywhere without this portable travel scale, the airport is already a hassle on its own, I don’t want to have to start repacking and unboxing in the middle of it. I know what my bags weigh before I leave my house or hotel.
